Gemini was a thrill to create. I tried to become curious like a Gemini—no second guessing myself, trying different techniques I typically wouldn’t try, and adding colors I normally wouldn’t put together with my palette. This piece, to me, embodies the essence of Gemini—creative, curious, imaginative, while simultaneously impulsive, expressive, and always ready to try new things. The duality of a Gemini keeps them consistently interesting.
Oil on canvas, 36 x 48 inches
